Nicholas Tyler Craft, age 27 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec 18, 2025 due to complications from injuries in an auto accident. He was born August 4, 1998 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Janice Anne Craft.
Nick was a proud graduate of Alter High School class of 2017. He was extremely smart and hardly needed to study. His 4.0 GPA would earn him a full ride to Miami University in Oxford, OH. Nick was never afraid of work and the word "lazy" was not in his genetics as he began working at age 11 doing various odd jobs until his most recent employment at FHI, where he was number 1 in production in all of America. He selflessly poured all that he had in to his work and his coworkers became like family to him. In his free time, he enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, football and especially golf. Nick will be remembered for his funny and outgoing personality, his ability to make friends wherever he went as he never knew a stranger and being the life of the party. He never hesitated to give anything to help others in need. Nick had a smile that would light up a room as soon as he walked in; that smile will remain with those who loved him dearly. He was the best husband, son, brother and friend.
He is preceded in death by his mamaw, Glenna Jane Craft; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Nick is survived by his beloved wife, Shiloh Lynn Craft; his mother, Janice Anne Craft; brother, William Alexander Craft; papaw, William Howard Craft; godmother, Teresa Anne Koverman and many other loving family members and friends.
Although he was always such a happy, beautiful person his life was unfinished. We invite you to gather in remembrance of his life that touched so many at a visitation on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a service to follow at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
At the request of the family, if you would like to send flowers, please have them delivered to the Funeral Home for Nick's Service rather than to the family directly.
