Nathan James Young

June 15, 1999 — May 17, 2025

Xenia, Ohio

)Nathan James Young, born on June 15, 1999, in Xenia, Ohio, departed this life unexpectedly on May 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering love and joy that will be cherished by all who knew him. He was just 25 years old at the time of his passing in Dayton, Ohio.

Nathan's proudest accomplishment was his family. He loved fiercely, especially his two daughters, Emi and Mia, who were the absolute center of his universe. His devotion extended beyond fatherhood; he was a loving fiancé to Madelyn Davidson, a nurturing son to Ede and David E. Young, and a supportive brother to Jordan, Aaron, Thomas, and Alaina. Nathan cherished the special bond with his grandparents: Jim and Setsuko Young, Carl and Diane Cummings, and Jeanine Young. He never hesitated to lend a hand or offer his support to them, always making time to attend family events and bring joy to those around him through his spontaneous dancing and silliness.

Nathan dedicated himself to his career in construction for Rapid Response and Outdoor Enhancements, where he poured his heart into every project, driven by a passion for building and creating. His education began at Marysville High School and continued at Princeton High School, where his infectious personality began to shine. Nathan was outgoing, silly, goofy, loving, devoted, and, at times, a little stubborn—a unique blend that endeared him to so many.

Nathan's love for life was evident in his many hobbies and interests. He often spent his days outdoors, indulging in his passions for hunting and fishing, where he would always find pride in bonding with nature. He was an avid supporter of The Philadelphia Eagles—shouting "Go Birds!"—and passionately followed The Ohio State University Football team, proclaiming, "Go Bucks!" His love for fantasy football and his occasional ventures into gambling were just a few of the ways he embraced the joys of life. His favorite time was spent creating family meals with a spatula in one hand and both daughters in his other hand.

Nathan's warmth and kindness will be profoundly missed. Family members and friends hold tightly to their memories of him, the laughter they've shared, and the love he freely gave. He is also survived by many other family members and friends who are heartbroken by his absence. Greeting him in heaven is his grandfather David A. Young and his angel baby.

A visitation to celebrate Nathan's life will take place on May 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service starting at 1:00 PM at the First Church of Christ located at 441 Ledbetter Rd in Xenia, OH. An informal celebration of Nathan's life will be held later that day at 5:00 pm at The Buck (124 Xenia Towne Square in Xenia, Ohio).

Nathan James Young's spirit will continue to live in the hearts of his loved ones and in the memories of all who were lucky enough to know him. His legacy of joy, laughter, and love will remain, shining brightly as a testament to a life well-lived.
