Nancy Shea Welch

Nancy Shea Welch, age 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on March 21, 2026. Her meek and sweet spirit will be deeply missed by her family and friends left behind.

She was born on October 29, 1935 in West Virginia and was a dedicated office worker until she retired at age 70. Nancy was always soft-spoken and quick to smile and make others smile. She was a gracious host, a poet and song writer, who loved her gardens and her memory will live on in the starts and cuttings of the beautiful flowers and plants that she shared with so many.

She is survived by her daughters Kathy (Mark) Huthmacher of Beavercreek, Ohio and Linda Sue (John) White of Marble Falls, Texas. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Keri (Sean) Roberts, Joshua (Jen) Huthmacher, Stephie (Alix) VanHouten, Justin (Kellee) Huthmacher, ten great grandchildren and loving nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Kathleen Dennison, sister, Pat Dennison, brother, Jerry Dennison, husband Harold Welch and son Danny Welch. She will be lovingly interred in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH with her husband Harold who served in the US Army.  A brief memorial service will be held at the veteran’s interment site there.
