Nancy Sue Sheehan

Nancy Sue Sheehan, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on August 3, 2026, in Centerville, Ohio, at the age of 84. Born on October 20, 1941, in Dayton, Ohio, Nancy graced the world with her warmth and kindness from the very beginning.

Nancy was a proud graduate of Belmont High School, Class of 1959. Her school years helped shape her into the caring, thoughtful woman she became.

Nancy’s gentle nature set her apart. Known for being sweet, kind, and soft spoken, she touched everyone she met with her genuine concern and unwavering love for her family. She was often described as the “best grandma,” a role she cherished deeply, filling the lives of her family with joy, compassion, and treasured memories.

Nancy found joy in the beauty of the outdoors, spending time tending to her flower beds and nurturing her plants. She also loved horses and felt a profound connection with these magnificent creatures, always finding peace in their company.

Family meant everything to Nancy, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her beloved Husband, Michael "Mike" Sheehan; daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" (Nathan Pence) Allen and Diane Sheehan; grandchildren, Brandon (Natasha) Allen, Erin (Travis) LeMaster and Matthew (Amanda) Allen; great grandchildren, Breanna, Kierstyn, Emily, Landon, Tyler, Dean, Brooke and Cole; great great grandchildren, Ava, Everly, Michael, Theodore and Baylee; sister, Barbara Joyce (David) Purvis; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, John Oscar Turley and Opal Turley; and her brother, John Wesley Turley.

Those who knew Nancy remember her as incredibly sweet and kind, someone whose adoration for her family was evident in every gesture and word. Her quiet strength and steadfast love left an indelible mark on the lives she touched.

Visitation to honor and celebrate Nancy's life will be held from 9:30am-10:30am, on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH. Funeral Service will follow the Visitation beginning at 10:30am, at the funeral home. Burial will then take place at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia.

Though our hearts are heavy with her loss, the gentle spirit and heartfelt love of Nancy Sue Sheehan will remain a guiding light for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
