Nancy L. McCay, of Miamisburg passed away peacefully on March 20, 2016. She retired from Gwinnette County Planning and Development in Georgia to take on the challenge of caring for her mother and husband, who suffered from Alzheimer's.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John William McCay, Sr.; and parents, Goldie and Rufus Shrader.
Nancy is survived by her children, William (Linda) Thoroman, Rebecca (Richard) Jones, and Brian (Brandy) Thoroman; grandchildren, Cristina (Jamie) Anthony, Brittany (Jeffrey) Kline, Jon Jones, and Ashley Thoroman; sisters, Burness Snell and Patricia Bradley; nieces, Shannon Bradley, Kelli (Ned) Bowlin; nephew, Shawn Snell; many aunts and uncles; and life long friend, Kay Brommeland.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 10am at South Brook Christian Church (9095 Washington Church Rd, Miamisburg) for family and friends. Jerry Ittel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of the Miami Valley or to the family to assist with final arrangements.
