Listen to Obituary

Nancy Ann Fay, age 85, of Miamisburg, born on March 19, 1941 to the late Edwin and Adele Fay, in Rochester; New York, went peacefully home to her Lord and Savior Jesus, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, surrounded by family.

Nancy had a strong faith and lived to serve others, using her gifts and talents to offer hope to those around her and in need. She was an active member of SouthBrook Christian Church, where she was a volunteer member of the Welcome Counter team and was a member and served on the Cancer Hope team. She was also a part of Noble Circle and volunteered for and served the Hope 29:11 Prison Ministry.

Nancy earned a Master's degree in counseling from Wright State University and had a long career as a counselor in many capacities. She was creative and after her retirement, used her gifts as a talented sewer; quilter, knitter, and embroiderer to make things from clothing for her grandchildren and gifts for her family, to blankets for other cancer survivors to ministry totes. She loved to tend to her garden, flowers and plants both indoors and out. She was also a gifted pianist and spent a lot of her time at the piano, making that talent a gift to many around her:

Nancy was very proud of her Irish heritage and even checked a life-long wish to visit Ireland off of her bucket list in 2013. She made having corned beef and cabbage every year on March 17" a tradition for us all. Her family was of utmost importance to her; making it a priority, sacrificing so much for those in her world. Absolutely nothing made her face light up quite like the presence and faces of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her family faithfully, unconditionally and sacrificially with an honest yet tender and compassionate heart.

Nancy is survived by these family members of that precious family: daughters, Deborah A. Nagy, Karen M. Nagy, Michelle (Nathan) Robinson; son Frank (Stevie) Nagy IV, brother Thomas P. (Lorraine) Fay; grandchildren Jessica, Joshua (Hanna), Rebecca, Alex, Sklyar (Phil), Lucas, Zachary, Samantha, Lexii, Sydney, Tera, Mona, Logan, Lucas, Carley, Kaylynne, and Abigail; great-grandchildren Liliana, Harlan, Miller, Austin, Kai, Hayden, Sami, Cheyenne, Kennedy, Rosalee and Ryder and countless nieces and nephews, as well as numerous other family and friends.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Michael Fay and Terry Fay.

While her earthly family grieves the tremendous loss of her here, we find peace and solace in knowing that she is reunited with these loved ones and will eternally walk in the Light of Jesus.
