Surrounded by the love of her family, Myrna V. Hudak passed away on June 12, 2026, at her home, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
Born on September 5, 1965, in Dayton, Ohio, Myrna was a vibrant spirit whose life was a testament to the power of love, family, and friendship. Myrna was the beloved daughter of Tony and Claudia Johnson. She was predeceased by her father, Tony, and her brother, Anthony Allen, whose memories she carried with her throughout her life.
She is survived by her strong and loving mother Claudia her guiding star throughout her life. Her devoted husband, Ken Hudak, with whom she shared over 33 years of a beautiful marriage. Together, they journeyed through life, building a home filled with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love. Myrna and Ken were blessed with four wonderful children: Aleah (Josh), Jill, Angelina, and Sam, each a reflection of their mother’s caring nature and zest for life. Her seven grandchildren, Alyssa, Jaxon, Rylan, Vyvi, Liam, Grayson, and Rosalie, were the light of her life, and she delighted in watching them grow, each carrying forward her legacy of kindness and joy. Her bond with her sister, Susan Helmig-Baker, was one of deep affection and shared memories. She adored her many Nieces and Nephews Nicole Krisher (Kevin), Sierra Baker (Lance), Sienna, and Chace.
A proud graduate of Walter E. Stebbins High School, class of 1983, Myrna pursued further education to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Her career with the Dayton Clinical Oncology Program was not just a job but a calling. She cherished her work and the camaraderie she shared with her co-workers, who became lifelong friends. Her dedication to her profession was matched only by her devotion to those she served, always going above and beyond with a smile and a kind word.
Myrna’s warmth and kindness were a beacon to all who knew her. She had a knack for making everyone feel welcome and valued, her home a place of comfort and joy. She possessed a gift for finding beauty in the simplest of things, whether tending to her beloved flowers and plants or cheering on contestants on her favorite show, "Survivor." Her love for her family and friends was the cornerstone of her life, and her genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Myrna's legacy is one of love, laughter, and light. Her ability to see the brighter side of life and her unwavering kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. While her physical presence is no longer with us, the light she left behind will continue to illuminate our lives. While we grieve the loss of Myrna, we also celebrate her extraordinary life, grateful for the love and joy she brought into our world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Myrna's memory to the American Cancer Society, spreading her spirit of kindness and generosity further into the world. Myrna Hudak will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
