Mollie Marie Slusher Tebalt, 79, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center.
She was born on December 23, 1940 in Knox County, Kentucky to the late Mathew and Clara (Jackson) Slusher. On January 15, 1967 she married John F. Tebalt, who preceded her in death on September 15, 2020 after 53 years of marriage. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Mollie was preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene (Tom) Carter, and her siblings, Lillie (Garrett) Broughton, O.V. (Gelema) Slusher, Goldie (Henry) Peace, Oma (J.L.) Smith, and Donald (Carlene) Slusher.
She is survived by her children, Donna (Steve) Gaston, Carol (Brian) Heflin, and Tom Tebalt; her grandchildren, Shaun A. (Allison) Gaston, Brandon M. Gaston, Chrissy Carter, Justin (Jennifer Geiger) Carter, Anna Margaret-Elizabeth Heflin, Olivia Lynn Heflin; great-grandchildren, Bobby Crutchfield Jr., Brianna Saldana, Christopher Saldana; great-great-grandchildren, Easton Crutchfield, Presley Crutchfield, and Wyatt Roberts; along with many nieces and nephews.
Mollie enjoyed gardening, flowers, and the color pink. In her free time she enjoyed shopping and collecting angels. Mollie was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 from 12:30 pm until time of service at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel 3940 Kettering Blvd. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
