Mildred Ivis Patterson

Mildred Ivis Patterson, age 86 of Riverside, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at her home. She was born June 20, 1931 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Willie and Peggy Jones.
Mildred retired from the Westward Ho Cafeteria. She had a green thumb, loved to travel and spending time with her family. She was young at heart and had a heart of gold. She will be sadly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edsel "Ray"; brother, Hershel Jones and sister, Jean Childers.
Mildred will be missed by her loving children, Hershel (Michele), Yvetta (Mike), and Freda; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Kathy), Angel (Patrick), Daniel (Heather), Anthony and Heather; five great-grandchildren, Fayth, Sarah, Heather, Sierra, MiKinley; special nephew, Eddie Jones Childers; numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Family will receive friends Monday, April 23, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial to immediately follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
