Mildred F. Nieberding

NIEBERDING (Heckman), Mildred F., age 83, of Riverside, went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 after a bout with cancer. She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, James Robert; brothers, Joe, Larry, and Bill; sister, Barb; brother-in-law, Denny, and sisters-in-law, Betty and Lois Heckman.

Mildred is survived by her brother, Jim (Joyce) Heckman; sister, Mary Lou Lewis; sons, David (Joy), Dale, and Mark (Lourdes) Nieberding; 4 grandchildren, Andy (Nikki), Neal (Connie), Megan, and James Nieberding, and great granddaughter, Lilly-Rose Nieberding, as well as a host of other family and friends. She was a charter member of St. Helen Catholic Church and was a member of their choir for 35 years. Millie was also a member of St. Helen Leisure Club, the Falcon Club, and was a trustee board member for Good Shepherd Ministries.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday, March 3, 2014 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 605 Granville Place (Burkhardt Rd.), Riverside, OH 45431. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the church, with burial following at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Good Shepherd Ministries, 1115 E. Third St., Dayton, OH 45402 to support work with the poor.
