Mildred "Aunt Jeanette" (Simons) Howard, age 75 of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at The Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 13, 1938 in Dayton, OH, the daughter of the late, Joseph Nicholas Simons, Jr. and Matilda Frances (Curtis) Muncy. Mildred married William Anderson Howard, Jr. in Liberty, IN on July 24, 1954. He preceded in her in death in 2000.
She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert E. Muncy, Sr., Wilbur F. Simons, Joseph N. Simons, III, and Lloyd E. Simons; sister, Dorothy M. (Muncy) Reck-Bohannon; and infant sister, Linda Lee Simons.
Mildred is survived by several loving nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; several great great nieces and nephews; and special friend, George Fausey.
She was an avid button collector at Polk Grove Button Club.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton.
