Mila Rue, a shining light full of joy and laughter, was born on December 19, 2018, and tragically left us much too soon on July 24, 2025. In her short but vibrant life, Mila touched the hearts of everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
Mila was not just a daughter; she was a beloved granddaughter, great-granddaughter, sister, niece, and cousin who brought endless smiles and affection to her family. She was a gifted student, displaying an impressive intellect that hinted at a bright future ahead. Adventurous and brave, Mila expressed dreams of being a mycologist, marine biologist, and sometimes a mermaid.
Her personality was a kaleidoscope of kindness—she was everything good in the world. Always smiling, Mila had the biggest heart, a playful sense of humor, and a goofy charm that could brighten any room. Her infectious creativity knew no bounds, from pretend play and dress-up to arts and crafts projects, Mila was a wellspring of imagination and fun for everyone in her life.
Mila loved listening to Taylor Swift and watched the Eras Tour on repeat. She loved all things Pokémon and cherished her time spent with friends, creating memories filled with laughter and exploration. Mila loved taking trips to Target, eating sweet treats, and looking for mushrooms on hikes.
Though her time with us was far too brief, Mila leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. She will forever be missed, held dear in the memories of those lucky enough to have witnessed the incredible spirit that was Mila.
A Celebration of Mila's Life will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Parkview United Methodist Church, 3713 Benner Road in Miamisburg. A service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the church.
