Michelle "Shelly" Madden, born on August 19, 1962, in Elwood, Indiana, passed away on February 3, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio from complications that arose from a kidney transplant. Shelly was a warrior who fought hard to come home from the hospital and never gave up for her grandbabies.
Michelle made many friends through the years at the Trenton Party Mart, Home Depot, and most recently Lowe's where she retired.
Shelly enjoyed being a grandma more than anything in life. She sacrificed a lot to make other people happy, and was such a good mom and friend. She taught her sons by example how to be good people and amazing parents. She was kind, compassionate, caring, intelligent, and tough.
She loved babysitting, going on vacation, trips to Kings Island with her family, and spending time at Heritage Hills Campground where she and Robin owned property.
Shelly is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robin Madden; sons, Justin Madden, Luke Madden, and Robin Madden Jr.; grandson, Carter Madden; granddaughter, Stevie Madden; and brothers, Steve (Nancy) Fihe, Brian (Lydia) Fihe, Douglas (Sue) Herberger, Al Herberger, Dave Herberger, and Rob Herberger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Fihe; mother, Carolyn Herberger; and step-father, Adrian Herberger.
Visitation will be held on February 19, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Rose Hill Burial Park's Mausoleum Chapel in Hamilton, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM.
