He is also remembered fondly by his siblings, Tom (Susan), Juanita, and Glen (Debbie), his former spouse, Shirleen, and his nieces and nephews, Katy (Matt), Sam, John (Sheena), Anna (Steve), Nick (Monique), and Shelly (Dustin). His loving catz added warmth to his home, bringing companionship and joy.

Michael faced life's challenges with remarkable resilience, proudly celebrating his sobriety and actively participating in AA meetings. This accomplishment reflected his determination and commitment to personal growth, serving as an inspiration to those around him.

He is predeceased by his parents, William and Margaret Riley, step-sons Kenneth and David, and nieces and nephews Danny, Margaret, and Geneva. Also remembered are the mother of Michelle, Margie, whose impact on his life remains cherished.
