Michael Reed "Mike" Parker, age 71, of Xenia, passed away after a year-long battle with Lewy Body Dementia on December 13, 2025. Michael was born in Bay City, Michigan on March 31, 1954 to the late Edwin and Beatrice Parker (Odell).

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Herman Kienitz; as well as his brothers, Ed Parker and Bob Kienitz.

He is survived by wife, Carol Parker; siblings, Pam (Dave) Remus, Richard (Debbie) Parker, Daniel Parker, Russell (Deb) Kienitz and Diane (Mike) Gilmore; children, Shelly Lee (Jayson) Johnson, Aimee Jo (Mark) Arnold and Laura Jean Berry (Chris); grandchildren, Christian Johnson, Jayson Johnson, Caleb Johnson, Lexy Johnson, Jaylee Johnson, Sydni Ittner, Quin Arnold, Drew Arnold, Kayla Roberts, Kensee Berry and Klayton Berry; 8 great-grandchildren; favorite nephew, Rusty (Pam) Kienitz; as well as several nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Michael attended Pine River High School in Leroy, Michigan, Class of 1972. He was a member of the Carpenters Union 100 and most recently built bridges.

Michael enjoyed fishing and hunting with his best friend, Bob. He also loved riding motorcycles, fast cars, watching the Detroit Lions, antiquing, music and playing his guitar and spending time with family and friends.
