Michael T. Massie, born May 9th, 1971 peacefully passed away at the age of 55 on March 19th, 2026.
He was a man whose bright spirit and joyful nature touched the lives of all who knew him. Throughout his life, Michael was known for his infectious smile and hearty laughter, often being the happiest person in any room he entered. His markable ability to tell jokes and delight others with playful pranks made him a beloved figure among family and friends.
From a young age, Michael demonstrated a strong dedication to his craft. He started working for Beaver-VU at the age of 16, and worked his way into being a talented mechanic, where his skills and commitment earned him respect and admiration throughout his career. When Michael wasn't working, he was showing off his bowling skills and winning leagues and filling the room with laughter and jokes.
Above all, Michael treasured the time he spent with his loved ones. He is survived by his daughter, Haley Massie and his granddaughter, Jacey Rae Fishburn who carries his playful spirit. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford F. Massie and Sharron K. Kluntz and his grandchildren, Henli Nicole-Lynn and Kiel Chandler Fishburn, whose memories remain an important part of his life story.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Michael on May 9th, 2026 at Beaver-VU.
Flowers can be sent to Beaver-Vu day of the celebration and donations can be made to his GoFundMe.
Michael T. Massie's legacy is one full of the happiness, laughter and unwavering love for his family and friends. His spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
