Age 81, of Englewood, received the answer to the biggest question of all on May 19, surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Mike; and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol; his daughter, Vickie (McDonald); his son, Jeff; his grandsons, Brandon and Joshua; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 27, at 2:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. The family respectfully requests no flowers. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton. "Strike up the band and assemble the choir… another soldier's coming home".
