Michael Eugene Manos Fitzmaurice

Michael Eugene Manos Fitzmaurice, age 62 of Xenia, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 at home. He was born May 15, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Donald Manos and Patricia Fitzmaurice.
Mike retired from GM Assembly after 30+ years. He was an avid collector of Japanese katana and wakizashi swords. He enjoyed participating in martial arts and arrowhead hunting. He loved collecting t-shirts, colognes, and fine bourbons.
Mike was a humble and kind man who selflessly loved his wife and cared for her for over 10 years through her illness. He came into Ursula, Sabrina and Samantha's lives and became a dedicated husband and step-father. He was a fun-loving brother, Opa and friend who brought joy and will be dearly missed.
Mike is survived by his wife of 11 years, Ursula; daughters, Sabrina (Andy) Johnson & Samantha (Shaun) Fisher; grandchildren, Bryce, Colin, Landen, Skylar & Stella; brothers, James (Beth) Manos, Timothy Manos & Stephen Manos; sister-in-law, Kerri Manos; nephews, Casey & Wyatt; best friends, Chris Means, Steve Oster & Ron Rice; beloved pets, Ed & Lucy; and many other loving family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association Central and Southern Ohio Chapter -or- Hospice of Dayton.
Visitation will be August 29, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm.
