Michael R. Carruba, age 73 of Centerville, passed away October 12, 2020 at his home. He was born on January 5, 1947 in Dayton to the late Sam and Anita (Hemphill) Carruba. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his son, Brian Hubble and sister, Sherry Williams.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joann: children, Angela (Chris) Stutts, Jennifer (Scott) Readling, Shawnette Garrett and Daniel (Heather) Bell: grandchildren, J.J. Leitch, William Leitch, Jordan Leitch, Anna Leitch, Jessica Dortch, Megan Readling, Abby Readling, Brandon Bell and Zac Garrett; great-grandson, Easton Dortch; sister, Patricia Travers; numerous extended family and dear friends.
Michael had been a member of the Miami Township Police Department before moving on to district security manager for SEARS and later to Security management at the Dayton Mall.
At Michael's request, there will be no services.
