Michael R. Braun

Michael Robert Braun, age 72, of Franklin, Ohio passed on December 14, 2025 peacefully into the arms of the Lord. He was born on May 4, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Loretta (Anderson) Braun; sisters, Carol Panstingel and Nancy Clark; brother-in-laws, Benny Kleimeier, Herman Panstingel, and Randy Crawford; nephew, Jerry Clark; and niece, Julie Harmon. 

Those left the cherish his memory are his loving wife, Pamela Braun; daughter, Sarah (Derrick) Karns; step-daughter, Shella Thomas; sons, Jake Braun and Travis (Dawn) Braun; sisters, Shari Johnson, Arlene Kleimeier, and Chrissy Crawford; many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and special friends, Kieran Church and Patty Turner. 

Michael was employed with General Dynamics in Springboro, Ohio. A special thank you to all of Human Resources and the wonderful people who work there for all the kindness they showed Mike throughout the years. 

Mike was warm and gentle with a huge heart, proud to be a Marine veteran, had a great sense of humor, and a wonderful man. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the Dayton Veterans Hospital, Dayton, Ohio in memory of Michael.
