Michael Bailey

BAILEY, Michael, age 31 of Waynesville, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 8, 1987 in Kettering, Ohio the son of Larry R. and Melanie A. (Davis) Bailey.

Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Elmer Davis and cousin, Ryan Davis.

Michael is survived by his children, Alexis Renee Bailey (her mother, Lindsay Coleman), Bristol Danielle Bailey and Bryson Michael Bailey (their mother, Brittany Boring); sister, Alyssa N. Bailey; niece, Kylie N. Bailey; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Helen Bailey; maternal grandmother, Julia Davis; great grandmother, Ruth Jordon; great uncle, Larry H. Bailey; aunts, Quin Bailey and Shawna (Hobert) Eversole and uncle, Mike (Beth) Davis as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Michael was a 2005 graduate of Miamisburg High School. He enjoyed football and baseball during his high school career. Michael was employed as a coal miner for Blue Diamond of Kentucky. He became a full-time Dad in 2009 and dedicated his time to caring for his family. Mike was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Temple of Dayton and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Family will receive guests from 12:30 – 2:30 pm Friday, August 31, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Kettering. A 3:00pm graveside service officiated by Pastor Jerry Siler will follow procession to Hillgrove Cemetery in Miamisburg.
