With our deepest sorrow, we announce that Michael John Bacon, 26, a son, grandson, family member, and friend to many, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 while battling a lengthy illness.
Michael will be missed every day by his mother Kimberly (Kingery) Bacon; father, David (Tammy) Bacon; brother, Chad Bacon; grandparents: Linda and Tom Kingery; and his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents: Susan and Bobby Bacon.
Michael was the Environmental Health and Safety Manager at Fuyao Glass America. He was passionate about his job and continued his education to become a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
Michael graduated from Wright State University with a degree in Earth and Environmental Health Sciences. He attended Sinclair Community College to become a firefighter and EMT. He was a part-time firefighter and EMT for Sugarcreek Township, Ohio, 2017-2018. He also ran a business that provided CPR/AED training classes to individuals and groups.
Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, boating, and attending NASCAR races with his grandfather, brother, and great-uncle Dan. He would often take trips to Gatlinburg, Florida, or go on a cruise. He was known for his bright smile and friendly, positive outlook on life.
Michael requested that each person remember him in their own special way.
