Meredith Mehrdad Rohani

Mehrdad "Meredith" Rohani, age 87, passed away in his home in Beavercreek on Thursday, June 7th, 2018. He was born August 28, 1930 in Tehran, Iran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Zaman and Bazmiah Rohani. Meredith ventured to the United States as a young man after attending medical school at Tehran University, and later establishing a general surgery practice at Beckley Hospital in Beckley, WV, as well as at Raleigh General Hospital.

Meredith is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret, daughter Darleen (Brian) Palmer, and sons Paul (Mara) Rohani and Mark (Lori) Rohani. He was a loving Grandpa to Katy, Cameron, Alexis, Desha and Landon. He is survived by a siblings Rohan Sohrab, Habib Rohani and Gloria Rohani, as well as numerous family and friends.

Meredith was a beloved surgeon, husband, father, grandfather and friend. His impact on his patients, friends, and family in and around Beckley, WV will be felt long after his passing. He was bright, inquisitive, and loving, with a wry wit and an unforgettable sly grin!

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Newcomer Funeral home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek Ohio 45432.
