Melva Delores (Howell) Allen, age 73 of Dayton, was born February 26, 1940 and was accepted into the loving arms of the Lord on May 7, 2013. She was surrounded by her loving family. Melva was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Allen, Sr.; parents, Alice and Raymond Howell; infant son, William Allen, Jr.; brothers: Maynard Eugene, Chuck and Bobby; sisters: Penny Kay, Kathrynn Price and Connie Brackney.
Melva is survived by her six children: Alice Smith, Deborah (William) Clark, Melva (Robert) Dearth, Cindy (Edward) Delong Mullins and Karen (Timothy) Beaty; and her loving baby boy, William G. Allen, III; 20 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren; 3 sisters; and one brother.
A family reunion will be held at 3:00 pm on June 1, 2013 at Thomas Cloud Park, Huber Heights, OH. All family and friends are welcome.
