Melissa Ann "Missy" "Queen of Nascar" Rigney, age 53 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at her home. She was born January 4, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Tony and Phyllis Rigney.
Missy loved to sew, making many quilts over the years for her family. Her dog Rowdy "Ed" was more like her baby. Nascar was her life. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very generous person, always thinking of others and giving whatever she had. Missy was a loving mom, Meme, sister and aunt who will be dearly missed.
Missy is survived by her children, Tony (Jessica) VanZant & Ryan Elvis (Christina) Childers; grandchildren, Aubree, Christian, Teegan, Presley, Harley & Sam; siblings, Becky (Rick) Felton, Lulu (Robert) Ray, Tony (Angela) Rigney & Juanita "Pooh" Rigney; her significant other, Chuck Paul; her fur baby, Rowdy "Ed"; many nieces & nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by parents and best friend, Nancy "Lovey" Drake.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday October 10th at 3 pm - 7 pm at 5209 Ottawa Drive, Fairborn, Ohio.
