Melinda Alana Delaney

Melinda Alana Delaney, aged 45, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Hospice of Dayton. Born on June 20, 1980, in Dayton, Ohio, Melinda was the beloved daughter of Larry and Linda Delaney.

A proud graduate of Beavercreek High School’s Class of 1998, Melinda continued her education at Ohio State University and Sinclair Community College, earning her Bachelor’s Degrees in Hospitality Management and Nursing. She devoted her professional career to her role as a Registered Nurse, where she adored her patients. She then became a Banquet Manager, demonstrating dedication and passion in her work. If you knew Melinda, you knew she had a deep love for animals and was a devoted mother to her beloved daughter, McKenna. Melinda’s life will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.

Melinda was preceded in death by her father, Larry Delaney. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her mother, Linda Delaney; her cherished daughter, McKenna Delaney; and her brother, Samuel Andrew Delaney. She is also survived by numerous family members and friends who held her dear.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 3380 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio, with a funeral service to follow.
