Tabor, Maurice P., 86, of Huber Heights, passed away November 12, 2016.
He was born February 28, 1930 in Bluefield, WV to the late William Thomas and Gertrude (Poore) Tabor. Maurice worked for the Defense Electronic Supply Center (DESC), retiring after 36 years. He was an avid bowler and coached various sports teams. Maurice had a very big heart, and he spent a lifetime helping his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Shirley (Peters) Tabor, his daughter, Barbara (Tabor) Adkins, granddaughter, Catherine Johnson, and 2 sisters, Mildred "Mimi" Vaught, and Maureen Finley. Maurice is survived by his children, Marcia Johnson, William (Sheri) Tabor, Terri Tabor, Randy (Joan) Tabor; grandchildren, Jessica (Bill) Houchins, Daniel (Shannon) Johnson, Tony Tabor, Brenda (Alan) Ronnebaum, Brian Perry, Rebecca Tabor, Rachel Tabor; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Houchins, William Houchins, Mia Bella Johnson, Lyla Tabor, Shyanne Tabor, Jacob Tabor, Madden Burton, Alex Ronnebaum, Emma Ronnebaum, Caleb Perry, Madison Perry, Jacob Perry, Noah Perry, Ella Perry, Hannah Perry, Jackson Perry and numerous nieces and nephews.
An expression of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society in Maurice's memory.
