Mary Young

YOUNG, Mary Louise, age 87, of Memphis, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, retired Jazz musician, died Wednesday at Allenbrooke Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at Noon Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until noon with burial in Jeffersonview Cemetery. She was a member of the St. Matthew Baptist Church in Stanton, Tenn. She leaves a brother, Eugene "Snooky" Young of Van Nuys, Calif., a niece who took care of her, Shela Nelson and host of other nieces and nephews.
