Mary E. Simpkins

Mary E. Simpkins, age 84 of Riverside, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 5, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elmer and Esther George.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Simpkins; sons, Dale Watts Sr., Jerry Watts and Randy Watts; brother, Don George; and sister, Etta Mae Turner.
Mary is survived by her sons, Scott Watts, Gary (Rosalie) Watts; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Clarence "Ed" George, Phyllis Messmear; beloved dogs, Peanut, Hyper and PeeWee; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Mary loved gardening and had quite the "green thumb."
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 10:30 am, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
