Liz and Jim started their lives together in 1948 in Monongah, West Virginia but eventually moved to Dayton, Ohio. Liz loved the flower business and eventually had her own shop called the Yellowbird. Even though she always wanted to be a nurse, she devoted her life to caring for her family and friends.
Liz was the beloved matriarch of our family-a loving, caring, and nurturing woman whose devotion to the Catholic Church was matched only by the strength of her faith in our Lord. She loved her children, grandchildren, family, and friends unconditionally, offering each of us a sense of comfort, guidance, and unwavering support. She had a truly beautiful soul, radiating kindness and grace in all that she did.
She inspired many simply by the way she lived, instilling in our family the values that continue to shape us today. To us, she was not only a blessing, but a saint-an example of faith, compassion, and unconditional love. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She will forever remain in our hearts, forever and ever.
