Mary Jane Sepeck

Mary Quatman Sepeck, the family’s beloved spitfire whose ornery humor and generous heart lit up every room, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, surrounded by those she loved. She had a gift for making people laugh—sometimes through her sweetness, and sometimes through her delightfully stubborn nature—and everyone who knew her carries a story that proves it.

Mary shared 55 years of marriage with her lifelong partner, Stephen Sepeck Jr., a relationship marked by deep love, unwavering loyalty, and playful banter. Together, they built a family that was the center of her world. She was the proud mother of four children—Sheryl Winter (Christopher), Stephen Sepeck III (Julie Sandusky), Michele Glithero (Christian), and Gregory Sepeck (Krista)—and a motherly presence to many others who were fortunate enough to enjoy her welcoming nature, incredible cakes, and amazing food.

Her grandchildren—Gabbrielle Sepeck, Chloe Winter, Harrison Sepeck, Michaela Glithero, and her niece Jessica (Levi) and grand-nephew Axel were her greatest joy. She adored them with her signature mix of tenderness and sass.

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd Beavercreek, Ohio) on Friday May 15, 2026 at 4:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 pm.
