Mary Arta Schuck, born on October 12, 1943, in Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, in Ohio. Mary’s journey was marked by a deep commitment to her vocation and an adventurous spirit that took her around the globe.
An accomplished professional, Mary pursued her education at Wright State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Her career was multifaceted; she served as a dedicated nurse, providing compassionate care to those in need, and she worked as an Airline Stewardess for United Airlines, where she embraced the opportunity to travel and meet people from diverse backgrounds.
Mary's personality radiated kindness and beauty, both on the inside and out. She embodied a truism that resonated with everyone who met her. Her love for traveling led her to Germany and various countries throughout Europe, as well as cherished vacations in the Caribbean, creating memories that enriched her life.
A lover of classic cinema, Mary enjoyed spending her time watching Turner classic movies, often with her beloved cats by her side. Her interests reflected her wide-ranging appreciation for art, culture, and the joy of companionship.
Mary is survived by her brothers, Gordon (Carole Hodes) Chipman and Peter (Marian) Chipman, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will remember her fondly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Chipman, Sr. and Arta (Graves) Chipman; her husband, Albert Schuck; and her daughter, Jennifer Clema.
As we remember Mary, let us celebrate a life well-lived, characterized by compassion, adventure, and an unwavering love for those she held dear.
