Mary Jane Reeder, age 75, of Dayton, passed away January 10, 2024. She was born on January 1, 1949, a New Year's baby, and was raised by her grandparents.
She had an amazing sense of humor and was her own character. Her smile and laugh could light up a room. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and she will be dearly missed.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, William & Hazel Hess and her brother, Gary Hess.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Craig Reeder Jr. (Heather) and Karen Reeder (Carlos Gay); her siblings: Barbara Myers (Thomas Stone), Johnny Hess and Donnie Hess; grandchildren: Michael Reeder, Erica Davis, Anthony Reeder, and James Kilgo Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
