Mary Merta, age 101 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018. She was born August 1, 1917 in South Fork, Pennsylvania.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Merta; as well as several siblings.
Mary is survived by her children, Anthony A. Merta, Lyle Merta, Christine Merta; grandchildren, Edward Merta, Susan (Ted) Spangler, Joyce (Dave) Ring; as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mary was a lifelong member of St. Adalbert Parish.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 9 am to 10 am at St. Adalbert Parish (1212 St. Adalbert Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45404). A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
