Mary M. Harvey

Mary M. Harvey, age 70 of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at her home. She was born on February 4, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Ward; mother, Margaret Ward; and beloved pup, Trista.

Mary is survived by her three daughters, Stephanie Hoffman, Denise (Lester) Vaughn, and Christine Harvey; previous husband, Dennis Harvey; grandchildren, Brittany, Brett, Taylor, James, McKenzie, Macy, Madison, Zoey, and Zayden; great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Malachi, Able, Weston, Waylen, Zanyla, Zemora, Zen, Kash, Kyzen; siblings, Darlene Lewis, James "Jimbo" Ward, Brenda (Scott) Geiger. She is also survived by beloved pup, Poppy alongside numerous family and friends who love her dearly.

She attended Northridge High School and enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, and an occasional cold beverage. She was known for her quick wit, unmistakable sense of humor, and her honest, no-filter way of speaking. A little ornery at times, she brought laughter and authenticity wherever she went. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her family, who meant the world to her.

The family hopes those who would like to honor her will find a quiet time to remember who she was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial at this time.
