Mary J. Allen

Mary J. Allen, age 80 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025 at Stone Spring Nursing Home in Vandalia, Ohio. She was born on September 8, 1945 in Dalton, Georgia, daughter of the late Andrew Wells and Jimmie Lou.

Mary loved the Lord and reading the Bible. She enjoy traveling, spending time with family, and karaoke. Music was a big part of her life. Mary will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Allen; siblings, Robert Wells, Virginia (Rex) Adams, Maxine Rhoads, and Clarence (Mary Katherine) Wells; and brother-in-law, Larry Brown.

She is survived by her siblings, William (BettyJo) Wells, Eugene (Lilly) Wells, Olivia (Tony) Wright, and Revenia Brown; brother-in-law, James Rhoads; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

There will be no services at this time as Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband privately by her family.
