Marvin Craig Stacy, a vibrant soul whose laughter and zest for life touched everyone he met, passed away on May 25, 2026, in Springfield, Ohio. Born on September 30, 1970, in Xenia, Ohio, Marvin was a shining light, known for his fun-loving, loud, and wild spirit. He was a man who truly lived life on his own terms, never caring what others thought and always staying true to himself.
A proud graduate of Beavercreek High School, class of 1988, Marvin carried with him a sense of community and pride throughout his life. He served honorably in the United States Army, a testament to his dedication and commitment to his country. After his military service, he worked with his father at Paul's Tree Service, where he labored among the trees with care and determination, contributing to a family legacy.
Marvin’s personality was infectious—he was the life of every party, his laughter filling rooms and hearts alike. Carefree and giving, he was the kind of person who would offer the shirt off his back without hesitation. Those who knew Marvin remember a man who was uniquely himself, someone who celebrated every moment.
His hobbies brought him joy and a sense of peace: hunting was a passionate pursuit that he embraced wholeheartedly. Music flowed through him as he played the banjo and guitar, filling quiet moments with melody. Gaming offered another realm of excitement, with favorites like Fallout 76 and Red Dead Redemption capturing his imagination. When he wasn’t outdoors or immersed in his games, Marvin could be found tinkering with various projects in his garage, always curious and hands-on.
Among Marvin’s greatest joys was his family, especially his beloved son Jaxon, the proudest accomplishment of his life. He leaves behind a loving circle of family: his son Jaxon; father Paul (Jerri) Stacy; mother Sandra Michael; siblings Paulette Stacy, Billy Anderson, and Scott Stacy; along with his close uncle Ted Potter, several nieces, nephews, and close friends who were cherished members of his extended family.
The community will gather to celebrate Marvin’s life and bid him farewell on June 1, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
Marvin Craig Stacy’s legacy is one of joy, generosity, and unyielding individuality. Though he is no longer with us, his infectious laugh, carefree spirit, and the love he shared remain deeply imprinted upon our hearts. His memory will forever be a treasure to those privileged to have known him.
