Marvin Joe Shoemaker

Marvin "Joe" Shoemaker, age 83 of Medway, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026. He was born June 6, 1942 in Drexel, Ohio. The son of the late Marvin and Evelyn.

Joe was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and friend. He liked to go fishing for Bass and was a member of the North Dayton Anglers Club. Joe enjoyed working on cars and tinkering on whatever he could get his hands on. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his partner, Stella Mayton.

He is survived by his children, Vicki (Andy) Jergens and Allen Shoemaker; grandson, Justin Jergens; mother of his children, Sandra Norris; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Per Joe's wishes, no services will be held at this time.
