Martin Paul Day "Marty"

Martin Paul Day "Marty", born on July 12, 1963, passed away on November 6, 2025. He is remembered as a kind, generous, and easygoing person with a great sense of humor. Marty had a fulfilling career, contributing his expertise at Tall Timbers and the Wright Patt Air Force Base Officer's Club.

He was a proud graduate of Wayne High School, where he likely made lasting memories and friendships. Marty's hobbies included playing cards, especially Euchre during Christmas, and he was an avid disc golfer, enjoying both activities with friends and family.

Marty leaves behind three brothers, Anthony (Mary) Day, Theodore (Julia) Day, and David. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including Sara Larson, Andy (Stephanie) Day, Joe (Julia) Day, Arlay Day, and Jennifer Day. His roommate, George Spencer, will also cherish the memories they shared.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Virginia Day, and his brother, Timothy Day.

A memorial gathering will be held on November 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM, both events will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, located at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424.

Marty's spirit and warmth will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
