Martha Marie Swanton

Swanton, Martha Marie, age 87, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011. Martha was a 1942 graduate of New Moorefield High School and a University of Dayton Nursing School Alumni. Martha is survived by her nieces and nephews: Edward Eugene (Brenda) Swanton, Linda Marie Swanton, Richard Alan Swanton, Kim (David) Lee, Lori Kreig, Paula Hillard, Tim Hillard; and numerous great nieces and nephews, family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: George Enfield & Florence Margaret (Morrison) Swanton; brother and sisters: Ruthanne Hillard, George Edward Swanton, Florence Joan Kreig; and niece: Jean Ann Bosworth. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Martha.
