Marques L. West, Jr.

Marques L. West, Jr., born on August 3, 2025, in the nurturing embrace of his family, departed this world on August 26, 2025.

Marques is survived by his loving parents, Iesha White and Marques West; sisters, August Pierce and Leilani West; great grandmother, Debra West; grandmothers, Glenda West and Helen Humphrey; grandfathers, Bruce White and Elisha Humphrey; aunts, Angelique West, Chamarea West, Tayisha West, Latoya Booker, Laray Booker, Talijah Humphrey, and Ja’Najah Humphrey; uncles, James Booker and Elisha Humphrey; great aunts, Angela West, Ruth Booker, Cecelia West, Hope Goldsmith, Keinda Sullivan, Gladys Hill, and Christina West; great uncles, Lashawn West and Herbert Booker; alongside numerous family and friends who enveloped him in love.

Even Though MJ's life was short-lived, he has blessed us in ways we cannot even imagine. We know he is looking down on us smiling knowing that he was loved and still is loved by many. We will promise to make sure to live life fully how you would want us to. As much as we want you back, we know you live through us. We never thought you would leave us so soon...we were waiting for you to come home, you were supposed to grow up with your sisters. It may seem like it is unfair, but God had other plans for you. MJ, you put up a good long fight, but you do not have to anymore-we are here to take over. You will be missed dearly and never forgotten.

Marques' journey will be honored during visitation on September 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, all taking place at Newcomer Funeral Home in Kettering, OH.
