Mark J. Mccoy

Mark J. McCoy, age 55 of Beavercreek, OH passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017. He was born December 25, 1962 in Perry, Georgia to Jeptha and Janet (Finders) McCoy.

Mark graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1981 and received his Associate Degree in Automotive Technology from Sinclair Community College. He worked at Beavercreek Schools as a school bus mechanic and retired in 2014 after over 20 years. Mark loved drag racing, fishing, shooting firearms and loved his dog Buster. He had a love for his family and will be greatly missed by all.

Mark is survived by his son, Dustin M. McCoy; a daughter, Megan N. (Nathaniel) McConnaughey; a granddaughter, Allie and a grandson on the way, Landon; a brother, Raymond (Lynn) McCoy; a niece, Sarah (Sean) Rutherford; and other numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
