Mark Douglas Knight Sr., age 52 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Grandview Hospital. He was born January 17, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Douglas Knight and Shirley Perry.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Knight; grandson, Nathan Knight; father, Douglas McArthur Knight; step-father, Tilden Perry.
Mark is survived by his mother, Shirley Perry; daughters, Ashley (Jeff) Stafford, Jessica Knight, Ciera Bowles; sons, Mark Knight, Jr., Mason Knight; significant other, Karen Adams; two brothers, Terry Knight, Sr., Jerry Knight, Sr.; two sisters, Roxanne Clayton, Opal Tidd; 16 grandchildren; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will immediately follow at 7 pm.
