Mark Everett Walker, age 77, of Huber Heights, passed away on November 7, 2025.
Mark was a 1967 graduate of Tecumseh High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army with the 509th Airborne Battalion Combat Team in Vicenza, Italy during the mid-1970s. He later retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 22 years of service in West Milton, Ohio.
He was a loyal husband, a wonderful father, and a loving Papa who cherished spending time with his family. Mark had a great sense of humor and loved to make others laugh. He enjoyed collecting watches, watching football, and relaxing with a good western.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Janet Walker; his sister, Sue Crace; and his brother, David Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Walker; daughters, Emily (Walter) Croft and Cathy Calhoun; son, Joel Walker; grandchildren, Sienna (Ethan) Egbert, Jessie Croft, Alison Calhoun, Kayden Calhoun, and Amelia Calhoun; sister, Marsha (Scott) Walters; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 4:00–5:00 p.m., followed by a celebration of life service beginning at 5:00 p.m., on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in Mark’s honor.
