Mark Darrin Smith

Mark Darrin Smith, age 59, of Fairborn, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2025. Born on May 5, 1966, Mark was raised in Fairborn, Ohio and had many friends whom he cherished throughout his life.

He loved the outdoors and could often be found fishing, hunting, camping or simply enjoying nature. He had a deep love for country music, and he shared many good years with his dog, Cole. He especially cherished time spent visiting with his grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

He will be remembered with love and deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mark is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Joy Smith; his father-in-law, Don Compton; father, Calla Smith; his mother, Joyce Rae Adams; his step-father, Henry “Bubby” Adams; his step-brother, Kenny Adams; and his niece, Tammy Ryder.

Mark’s memory will be cherished by his sisters, Mindy Belvo (Dan) and Shelly Black (Dan); his half-sisters, Deanna LeForce of Tennessee and Jennifer Huddleston of Tennessee; daughters, Raegan Rose, Christy Combs, and Sara Brewer; 8 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, Ohio, with his funeral service starting at 1:00pm. Following the service, Mark will be laid to rest at New Carlisle Cemetery.
