Mark Henry Beachler

Mark H. Beachler, age 78, of Kettering passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, April 1, 2017.
Mark was born in Brookville, OH on August 21, 1938 to the late Mary Katherine & Berlin Beachler.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Kathy Borton Beachler; sister, Ann Morton; children, Nicole (Steve) Main, David (Barbara) Beachler, Charlie Parker, Micah Beachler, Hannah Beachler and Leah (Mike) Jung; step-children, Julie (Jeff) Diamond, Robert Dalton and Aaron (Heather) Dalton; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Mark graduated from Brookville High School in 1956. He attended Miami University and received a degree in architecture in 1962. After college Mark worked with Jim Slager and they established a partnership in 1974. In 1977 he established Mark Beachler & Associates in Dayton. He retired in 2002. Mark continued his love of design and construction by helping family and friends in his spare time.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 11am-12pm at Belmont United Methodist Church, 2701 Smithville Rd, Dayton, OH 45420. The memorial service will follow at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Dr., Clarksburg, MD 20871.
