Marjorie Marie Storer passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on November 16, 1931, Marjorie lived a long life marked by love for her family, a strong sense of self, and a generous heart.
Marjorie retired from General Motors after 25 years of dedicated work. She was someone who was very particular and knew her own mind, qualities that shaped the way she moved through life. Along with her strength and determination, she was also known for her good sense of humor and for being very loving and generous to those she knew.
In her younger years, Marjorie loved to bowl, and she continued throughout her life to enjoy quieter pastimes such as crocheting and putting puzzles together. She was also an accomplished poet, having some of her work published in her book, The Little Red Dress. These interests reflected both her patience and her care, and they brought comfort and enjoyment to the days she shared with others.
Marjorie’s memory will be treasured by her daughter, Lynda Day; her grandchildren, Brian Lambert, Tabitha Hammond, and Stacey Watkins; her great-grandchildren, Grant Lambert, Morgan Lambert, Nora Wine, and Logan Wine; and her niece, Pat Schmidt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Storer; her parents Eula Mae & Oscar Wilburn; her children: Sharon Christman, James Carwile and David Carwile; and grandchildren: David Lambert, James Eason, and Bradley Carwile.
Marjorie Marie Storer will be remembered for her independence, her humor, and the kindness she extended so freely to the people in her life. Her presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm with her funeral service starting at 12:00pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Moraine City First Church of God, 5867 N Springboro Pike. Following the service, she will be laid to rest with Richard at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
