Arthur, Marilyn M., age 77, of Dayton, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Laurelwood Senior Living.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, C.E. "Gene" Arthur, mother, Dessie (Bedwell) Mitchell, brother, Jay Mitchell and father, Jack R. Mitchell.
She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Marilyn worked in the fund raising division of the Hearing and Speech Center in Dayton. She also volunteered for the United Cerebral Palsy Association. In her retirement years, she enjoyed working in her yard, bird watching and taking evening walks.
She had a heart of gold and loved and cared for all around her.
Visitation will held from 1:00pm until time of service at 1:30pm on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel 118 Woodland Avenue Dayton, Ohio 45409.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Marilyn Arthur to Alzheimer's Association, Miami Valley Chapter, 31 W. Whipp Road, Dayton, Ohio 45459.
