Marie Turner, born in London, England (in 1940), where she grew up then met and married William Turner, while he was stationed there. They returned to the U.S. to raise their family. Marie started studying the Bible in Pittsburgh, PA. She symbolized her dedication to Jehovah in 1969 and was a zealous witness (Bible teacher) all her life. She was a loving wife and mother, and was loved and appreciated for her kindness and compassion towards all who knew her.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Doris Thomson, her sisters, Peggy, Rose, and Regina.
Marie leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband of 60 years, William Turner; children, Stephen (Ramona) Turner, Ron (Zenaida Valdez) Turner, Raymond Turner, and Julie (Eric) Hammons; brothers, Raymond Thomson, Paul Thomson, and Peter Thomson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
In lieu of flowers and food, donations may be made in Marie's memory to Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45420) for all the "Loving care" she received during her stay.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the wonderful staff of Hospice of Dayton who took care of her, as well as those who cared for Marie while at GMH and KMH. Funeral services to be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (291 Bickett Road, Xenia, Ohio 45385), time of service pending.
