Marian Joyce Klosterman
August 4, 1954 — June 16, 2020
Marian Joyce Klosterman, age 65 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents Cyril L. Klosterman and Ann C. (Reinhard) Klosterman, infant brother Richard A. Klosterman, James A. Klosterman and nephews Joshua Johnson and Isaac Klosterman.
Marian held positions as a waitress in Dayton and then began her work career at Standard Register for 14 years. She then obtained her cosmetology license and worked at various salons and was the family hairstylist. She was a generous and nurturing person and her work ethic was an inspiration to all.
She volunteered at the Corner Cupboard Thrift Store for many years and her helpful hands and caring heart will always be remembered.
She is survived by her son Benjamin Klosterman and his wife Jennifer and her children Owen and Desmond, siblings Judy Tausch, Joe (& Carmelina) Klosterman, John (& Sue) Klosterman, Jerry Klosterman, Jeff (& Lillian) Klosterman, Jane Klosterman, Michael (& Christina Baranowski) Klosterman, Madonna (& Terry) Johnson, Nancy Klosterman, Susan (& Chris) Hampel, Madeline Klosterman and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
